Rob Bone

Having taught his first Group Fitness class in 1990, Rob’s career in fitness has taken him to many countries both as an instructor and presenter. A number of those years were spent in London as a studio manager at flagship centres, and also saw him work with the BBC as a fitness presenter for the Good Morning TV show.

Along with aerobic partner Erica, he was six times New Zealand pairs aerobic champion and represented New Zealand at seventeen world events, which included a world ranking of 7th, and also picked up a European Open bronze medal. He was also manager to the NZ Aerobic team and coached a number of elite athletes.

Rob is currently the Training Advisor for group fitness with the Christchurch City Council, and works with the team to coach, upskill, and pass on his experience to help develop other instructors. He also works alongside the crew at Exercise NZ to help deliver these conferences to Christchurch, and is a regular national Jump Jam judge.

You will feel the experience, energy, and fun in any of Rob’s sessions.
